The Centre’s Health Services research aims to assess the current provision of palliative care and to develop and rigorously evaluate novel models of palliative care provision to improve patient outcomes.

Our multidisciplinary projects include the development of new models of service delivery, the assessment of when/how palliative care services are currently introduced, and the creation of tools to identify those in need of palliative care.
Our researchers measure a wide range of health service outcomes, including those of patients, informal caregivers and health care providers as well as the economics of health care provision.
