Online Donations

Please note that all monies donated to Centre for Palliative Care Limited are used charitably at the discretion of the CPC Board of Directors. The wishes of donors are, wherever possible, taken into account by the Board when allocating available funds.

Refund Policy 

Centre for Palliative Care will provide a refund in the following circumstances: 

  • On any Centre for Palliative Care branded merchandise purchased at a hosted Centre for Palliative Care event (Event), providing the item purchased is returned in its present condition within fourteen (14) days of purchase]
  • On any Centre for Palliative Care branded merchandise purchased at an event not hosted by Centre for Palliative Care or from a registered 3rd party seller of Centre for Palliative Care merchandise, providing the item purchased is returned to Centre for Palliative Care in its present condition within fourteen (14) days of purchase

Centre for Palliative Care will not provide a refund in the following circumstances: 

  • The monies received is by way of a donation, unless that donation is made in error and Centre for Palliative Care is advised, in writing, within 24 hours of the error being made;
  • The payment to Centre for Palliative Care is made for any auction item, silent auction item or raffle ticket at an Centre for Palliative Care run Event;
  • All payments made at events not hosted by Centre for Palliative Care, but where the proceeds are subsequently donated to Centre for Palliative Care.

Centre for Palliative Care Events

A confirmation letter and tax deductible receipt will be posted or emailed within 72 hours of receipt of payment.

The Centre reserves the right to cancel events and issue refunds where events do not reach minimum participants or the event can not be held in accordance with COVID safe requirements.  In the event that an attendee cannot attend, a substitute is welcome to attend in their place.  No change of mind refunds will be given unless 21 days notice is given in writing prior to the date of the planned event. If less than 21 days the fee can be used for the same course at a later stage, or another course of the same value, at the discretion of the Centre.  You can contact the Centre for guidance on refunds in all other circumstances.

Currency

All transactions are in Australian Dollars (AUD$).

Security

Centre for Palliative Care uses the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard.

Credit Card Fraud

Most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges that result from unauthorised use of your credit card, or may limit your liability to $50.00. In the unlikely event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Donate
