Improving the future of palliative care: Launch of Palliative Care Research Network’s PhD Student group
A key role of the Palliative Care Research Network is to promote activities that foster the next generation of palliative care researchers. We are delighted to officially launch the Palliative Care PhD student group at this webinar. This group has been created to enable PhD candidates to share knowledge, experiences and provide a mechanism for informal peer support.
Supporting the next generation of researchers in palliative care, the Palliative Care Research Network (PCRN) auspices the Palliative Care PhD student group which will be officially launched at this forum. Created to share experiences, the Palliative Care PhD group provides a mechanism for informal peer support and camaraderie. Membership is open to any student who is enrolled in a PhD in a palliative care or related field at a Victorian university (this may broaden to other states in the future).
In this Student Showcase, several PhD candidates will be sharing their work, giving a flavour of new directions and knowledge in palliative care.
We welcome all those who are interested in improving the future of palliative care to attend the webinar.
About the PCRN
The purpose of the Palliative Care Research Network (PCRN) is to foster the evolution of collaborative scholarly inquiry in palliative care in Australia. The PCRN is leading a program of research that focuses on consumer engagement, which seeks to enhance patient and public involvement in palliative care.
