Our team at the Centre will work with you to develop a program of education that meets the specific learning needs of your service and clinical staff.
Programs can be delivered on site at your organisation or at a venue of your choosing.
Provided on a fee-for-service basis, the Centre’s training can take the form of a lecture, through to a full day training program, covering topics such as symptom management, psychosocial aspects of palliative care and communication skills.
As the developers of the Care Plan for the Dying Person -Victoria (CPDP-Vic) clinical and educational resources the Centre for Palliative Care is well-placed to develop a customised program of education for your health service.
A bespoke workshop curriculum can assist your health service to successfully implement the CPDP-Vic resources specifically and/or up-skill your staff in their provision of quality end of life care more generally.
Our trainers include clinicians from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
We provide education for all health care services. Examples include:
Cabrini Palliative Care Services
Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network
For examples of the curriculum that can be offered please see our Advanced Masterclass pages.
