The Centre for Palliative Care can develop and deliver education programs designed to meet the specific needs of a health service wishing to improve the care of patients with palliative care needs.
Provided on a fee-for-service basis, the Centre’s training can take the form of a lecture, through to a full day training program, covering topics such as symptom management, psychosocial aspects of palliative care and communication skills.
As the developers of the CPDP-Vic clinical and educational resources the Centre for Palliative Care is well-placed to develop a customised program of education for your health service.
A bespoke workshop curriculum can assist your health service to successfully implement the CPDP-Vic resources specifically and/or up-skill your staff in their provision of quality end of life care more generally.
Our trainers include clinicians from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
