Would you like to improve your skills and knowledge to better meet the needs of adults with life-limiting illness including cancer and chronic diseases?
The Psychosocial Aspects of Palliative Care module of the Specialist and Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care is available as professional development days. They will be particularly inviting to generalist health care professionals and/or those working in palliative care who want to update their skills but may not want to undertake formal postgraduate studies. Certificates of CPD hours will be provided.
Dates for the second semester include:
- Identification, Assessment and Management of Psychological and Psychiatric Disorders – Thursday 16th and Friday 17th August
- Special Needs and High-Risk Populations – Monday 20th August
- Supporting Health Care Professionals Caring for Palliative Care Patients and Families Experiencing Psychosocial Distress – Tuesday 21st August
